How it works

One host laptop runs the quiz. A projector can show the audience screen. Everyone else uses a phone browser. Nothing to install.

  1. Host signs in

Go to Host a quiz. Quizmasters, Quizmaster Pro, resellers, and administrators sign in, pick a pack, and QuickQuiz creates a room with a 6-digit code. Creating a room uses one credit, which hosts buy from Credits. Quizmaster Pro is the toolkit for professional quiz masters who want to plan the questions in advance.

  2. Put the code on a screen

Keep the host console on your laptop — it marks the correct answer. Open Audience screen on the TV. Teams scan the QR, open the join link, or type the code at quiznightlive.co.uk/join.

  3. Teams join

Players pick a team name and wait in the lobby. The host can tidy names, remove a disconnected device, then start.

  4. You drive the questions

Press Next on the host screen. Contestants see the prompt and answers — or, in Announced mode, letters only until you press Show Answers. Classic locks on the first tap; Casual waits until they press Lock in. The host sees who has answered without revealing the right option to the room.

  5. Scores and recap

After the last question, review totals privately, then reveal. Teams see the leaderboard and their own answers. The host recap is saved automatically — open View recap or Sessions later for the answer key, scores, and lock times if something is disputed.
